Yoked E4 - Submission To Proper Leadership

In this podcast episode, Yemi and Philia discuss Jacob, Leah and Rachel's throuple.  We learn about the importance of leadership and submission.  The dynamic of submission to leadership is a biblical principle for marriage.  The bible asks that husbands lead their wives and wives submit to their husbands.  However, the command is one thing and the action is another.  As we continue to examine the couples of the bible, we see the theme of communication being of critical importance.  It is important for the husband to take the initiative to set up time to have couple time and discussions with his spouse.  It is important for the wife to give deference to her spouse to take a leadership role in the household, and learn and respect her spouse's communication style.  Dr. David Clark gives many tips for husbands to be leaders and for wives to be submissive.  The most important is the desire to have a healthy relationship directed by the word of God and to actively work on it.
