Proverbs E24 - Little Lies, Big Lies, Then Prison!

In this podcast episode, Yemi and Philia continue to Unlock Wisdom through the book of Proverbs by discussing actions that are displeasing to God (Proverbs 6:16-19). These proverbs gives us 7 things we need to stay away from, (1) haughty eyes, (2) a lying tongue, (3) hands that shed innocent blood, (4) a heart that devises wicked plans, (5) feet that run rapidly to evil, (6) a false witness who utters lies, and (7) one who spreads strife among brothers. We may look at the list and easily say it does not apply to us or weigh which one is worse, but we are all guilty of the little sins that turn into bigger sins. We must protect ourselves from falling into the traps of the world that leads to destruction by focusing on the word and praying. Open your hearts to the Lord and invite in the conviction of the Holy Spirt. "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:1-2.
