Jesus Is About That Action
The Parable of the Sheep and the Goats is found in Matthew 25: 31-46. In this parable Jesus makes it clear that those who do the work of the Lord are the ones that will enter the Kingdom at the end times. Jesus is about that action. The Sheep are the ones that follow Jesus not just in words but in action - you fed the hungry, you clothed the poor, you comforted the sick and you visited the imprisoned. Jesus says he is the people in need and if you serve them you serve him and if you do not serve them you do not serve him. The Bible tells us that faith without works is dead. Jame 2:17. Our faith requires action. We cannot praise him fully with just words. God's love language is acts of service. Think about it - do you just pray for those in need or do you actually do something for those in need? If you are lacking in the service department, it's time to step it up because at the end times when Jesus is separating the Sheep from the Goats, the question will be - What have you done for me lately? And you better have receipts of action or you will be left out. We now know that just being saved and going to church is not enough. Do more, give more act. The time is now. Our faith is expressed to others by our actions. Let our love and the love of God shine through by what we do.
