Proverbs E16 - It's the Opps In Me
On this podcast episode, Yemi and Philia discuss the importance of fighting against our internal opposition (Proverbs 1:20-22 and 1:29-32). Our biggest enemy is usually ourselves. We struggle with our thoughts and our belief systems which prevent us from moving in the right direction. When we believe what the enemy says about us instead of what God says about us, we stand in opposition to the word of God and ultimately we fail to align with his will. Not aligning with his word and will only leads to our suffering. We are stronger and can find peace through submission to God. It is time to take captive our thoughts and actions and submit them to the knowledge of God. 2 Corinthians 10:5 "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
